Breakfast Sausage

These meaty delights are better than storebought and more economical.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • 2 teaspoons marjoram
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • pre-soaked sausage casings (optional)

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients together. Form into patties or put into casings. To cook, fry six minutes on each side. Keeps in the refrigerator for a week.
